ABOUT THIS COLLECTION

Help us preserve Cheadle’s history for future generations

Every photograph has a story. Every memory is a piece of our history.

The Cheadle Heritage Archive is a community project dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Cheadle, Cheshire. But an archive is never truly complete, and some of its most fascinating discoveries come from the people who have lived, worked and grown up here.

Perhaps you have an old photograph tucked away in a family album, a postcard showing a familiar street, a document relating to a local business, or simply a treasured memory of Cheadle in years gone by.

Whatever you have, we would love to hear from you.

Your contributions can help us build a lasting record of Cheadle’s past, ensuring that photographs, documents, stories and memories are preserved and shared with future generations.

You don’t need to be a historian or know the exact date of a photograph. Even the smallest detail can help us piece together the story of our village.

Together, we can preserve Cheadle’s history, one photograph, one document and one memory at a time.
